Meet your audiologist

Hello, I am Prasanth. Most people call me Bobby.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Speech Language and Hearing and a Masters in Audiology from the University of Queensland. For more than 20 years I have worked with people living with hearing loss, and seeing someone rejoin the conversation never gets old.

Everyone deserves the chance to communicate clearly and live life to the full.

Patients tell me they value my patience, compassion and sense of humour. I take the time to explain your results clearly, so you can make decisions with confidence.

Your first visit

What happens at a hearing assessment

A full assessment takes the guesswork out of hearing loss. Here is what to expect.

  1. We talk it through

Your hearing concerns, health history, ear infections or surgery, and the places where listening is hardest, like noisy cafes or the TV.

  2. We test your hearing

A look in your ears, then pure tone audiometry, tympanometry and speech testing with calibrated equipment.

  3. We plan the next step

Your results explained clearly, with options that suit your ear health, lifestyle and budget.

Hearing loss creeps up slowly

Family often notice before you do. Book a hearing assessment if any of these sound familiar.

  • People seem to mumble or speak unclearly
  • Conversations are hard to follow in noisy places
  • The TV is louder than others like it, or phone calls are a struggle
  • Women's and children's voices are harder to hear
  • You often ask people to repeat themselves
  • You notice ringing, buzzing or other sounds in your ears
